Visit Virginia Beach describes Sandbridge as a 4.5-mile beach area, with the Atlantic Ocean to the east and Back Bay to the west. That helps explain the setting, but it does not identify a home’s water frontage, view or access rights. Confirm those separately from the listing and property documents.
Little Island Park is a City facility at 3820 Sandpiper Road. The City’s beach resources list a fishing pier, parking, restrooms, picnic facilities, a playground and a canoe/kayak launch. Plan an actual visit if those resources would be part of your routine.

Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge and False Cape State Park are nearby natural-area destinations identified by the tourism office. False Cape does not allow public vehicular access. Read the state park’s current access guidance, including refuge-route conditions, before treating it as a drive-up park.
The City identifies Sandbridge Market, Sandbridge Municipal and Little Island public parking lots. Check current parking information rather than assuming the same fees, access or availability throughout the year. A public lot and a home’s assigned parking are different questions.
